Creating Knowledge

Our knowledge creation is guided by two objectives - the first, to produce new learning tools on women's rights that are creative, intersectional and accessible to practitioners in the social justice sector; and the second, to draw upon field-experiences and alternative law strategies so as to inform the understanding of law, society and social justice.

We aim to create non-academic multi-disciplinary resources on social justice law that help advance the understanding on rights. Learning resources that are accessible yet complex are vital to capacity building in social justice sector. The need to inform and engage with theory from perspectives of field activism and practice is equally important. Our knowledge creation endeavours to meet these goals.

Our resources attempt to be accessible to trainers, NGOs, lawyers, and senior field workers. The production typically involves field work, research in law and social sciences, guidance of a resource pool and feedback from the field partners.
