Feminist Perspectives

Feminist perspectives on law and human rights have been vital to unmasking the partial nature of law and the dominant interests underlying it. The resources in this category explore the limits of gender justice through the law while learning from feminist practice that demonstrates the potential within the law. The reports of the training programmes on ‘Gender and the Law’, and ‘Women and Human Rights Law’ accomplish the twin goals of examining how the law reproduces discriminatory social values while also exploring the strategies for contesting those values. In addition to these workshop reports, the resources falling under this category include action research and conference papers.
