Documentation Centre and Library
PLD has a small library of about 1,500 books and reports on international law, feminist legal theory, human rights, gender studies, sexuality, cultural identity politics, conflict and CEDAW. In addition to books and reports, there are papers catalogued on these themes, training manuals, citizens/ fact-finding reports. There is a comprehensive section on CEDAW, shadow report writing, state reports and review processes. The library is open on working days, from Monday through Friday, from 10.00am to 6.00pm for reference and research in the office premises. The library is accessible by prior appointment only..
Resource Packages
Compilation of articles, readings and relevant treaty law are prepared for all workshops and the readings correspond with the agenda topics. These are available for reference and photocopy on actual charges.
